5.2.7. Fuel level sensor

GENERAL INFORMATION

Resistance at the lowered float lever (the fuel tank is empty)

Resistance at the lowered lever of a float has to be about 110 Ohms.

Resistance at the lifted float lever (the fuel tank is full)

Resistance at the lifted lever of a float has to be about 2-4 Ohms.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the fuel pump and check that sensor resistance smoothly changed when lowering a float from 110 Ohms to about 2-4 Ohms.
2. Replace the sensor if it is necessary.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the connection socket.
2. Turn off a fixing nut and remove the sensor.
3. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
