3.4.19. Engine assembly order

GENERAL INFORMATION

Before assembly prepare all necessary new spare parts, laying and consolidations, and also the following tools and devices:

  – standard tool kit;
  – a dynamometer key with a head 1/2';
  – device for installation of piston rings;
  – a mandrel for compression of rings;
  – pieces of rubber or plastic hoses for clothing on rod cover bolts;
  – plastic calibration wire;
  – set of probes;
  – file;
  – fresh oil for the engine;
  – sealant like RTV;
  – anaerobic sealant;
  – a compound for fixing of threaded connections.

To save time and labor costs, assembly is recommended to be carried out in the following order:

  – bent shaft and radical bearings;
  – the directing bearing (on models with mechanical transmission);
  – pistons assembled with rods;
  – back epiploon and cover of an epiploon;
  – oil pump and masloulovitel;
  – oil pallet;
  – a flywheel with the coupling mechanism;
  – forward arm of fastening of the engine;
  – water pump;
  – head of the block of cylinders, cam-shaft, mechanism of control of valves;
  – seredny cover and forward epiploon;
  – gear wheels of the drive of a gear belt of a cam-shaft and natyazhitel;
  – gear belt and covers of a belt;
  – fuel pump;
  – back cover;

  – sensor of emergency pressure of oil;
